Duties:
- Apply Data analytics which involves examining and interpreting data to extract useful insights and make informed decisions.
- Various techniques and methods employed in data analytics,and the choice of technique depends on the type of data here are some of the techniques.
- Calculating measures such as mean, median, mode, range, and standard deviation to summarize and describe the main features of a dataset.
- Performed data extraction, analysis and published results using SAS ENTERPRISE GUIDE 7.1, 8.3 and SAS 9.4 .
- Based on the requirement of the appeal batches, developed complex SAS macros to simplify the code and minimize the code time effectively .
- Uploading the data to SQL views will feed further to tableau.
- Microsoft SQL server is the database used for creating logical views, Quality analysis was performed using SQL.
- Ensure if the data related to quality, business and cost are available and pass the metrics by utilizing SQL queries.
- Once the required quality checks are done, Microsoft SQL server is connected to tableau.
- Responsible for contributing to the design, implementation, testing and maintenance of several new and ongoing desktop and web applications.
- Investigating requirements and developing new features for system architecture.
- Produce high quality code to ensure maintainability.
- Collaborate with end-users to find innovative solutions to problems.
- Troubleshoot complex and difficult bugs.
- Help break down, estimate, and provide just-in-time design for small increments of work.
- Participate in design meetings and code reviews.
- Develop and implement software changes and improvements by researching software hardware-software integration designs.
- Able to work independently and take initiative, as well as work collaboratively and contribute to an agile team environment.
- Using SAS 9.4 for utilizing .sav files and transforming to excel files required for plan and provider survey.
- Working on complex SQL queries in order to score the data provided by business users.
- Generating reports with the help of Tableau and performing quality analysis in verification. Once they are analyzed, it will be moved to production environment, which can be viewed by end users.
Position Requirements:
Master’s in data science & Analytics, Health Informatics, Computer Science or related field.
Special Requirements:
Position requires travel/relocation to various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S with expenses paid by the employer.
